I was asleep at the time so I only saw this when I woke up. I could not access the server and attempting a restart did not resolve the problem. I fully stopped the server and brought it back up again and the problem was resolved. I will investigate the root cause and try and resolve this automatically in future. I apologise to players in the US and surroundings that would have had to join a higher ping server during this downtime. This broke mission loading and some authentication stuff. I then went to sleep without noticing the error and only fixed it when I woke up. Apologies! It's all resolved now, but there was an outage for about 8 hours. I now get notifications no matter how late they occur so I will catch issues like this in future immediately. We've since optimized this query as it was taking >60 seconds and timing out. The optimization now completes the query in <1 second. Apologies for the downtime. We have over 30,000 votes on missions now so our previous inefficient query was talking too long.
